INTERNET PHARMACY POLICY
In keeping with our high standards of care, NorthPaws Veterinary Center is unable to recommend internet pharmacies. Unlike local pharmacies, where a level of trust exists to competently fill prescriptions with a accountable relationship and reputable and legally obtained medications, we do not have this same level of trust in the aforementioned pharmacies. In addition, the guarantees or warrantees from the product manufacturers are invalid and are not honored by these companies or NorthPaws in case of adverse reaction, dissatisfaction, or other problems. Therefore, it is our policy not to legitimize internet pharmacies with telephone or fax prescriptions. However, we are always willing to provide a written prescription at your request to use in cases where your comfort level in these situations . A signature releasing NorthPaws and it’s agents from all responsibility from prescriptions filled through questionable outside sources will be needed.
