Mark Paradise, VMD
Dr. Mark Paradise is a co-owner and the Medical Director of NorthPaws Veterinary Center. Dr. Paradise has cared for pets at NorthPaws as a general practitioner since 2004, when the hospital first opened it’s doors as a companion-animal practice. Interested in medicine at a young age, Dr. Paradise always wanted to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
During his early years, Dr. Paradise entertained many other career paths for his life but eventually settled on what he always intended - as a veterinarian. A native of New Jersey, he attended University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded his Doctorate in 1999. In addition, he completed an internship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston from 1999 to 2000. After pursuing his career in New York, he met his wife Danielle. Together they moved to Rhode Island to settle down, build a practice, and start their family. His professional interests include internal medicine, surgery, and ophthalmology.
Dr. Paradise and his wife, Danielle, are the proud parents of two beautiful boys, and they share their home with two dogs, Emma and Flower; three cats, Emily, Weeble, and Inde; and two turtles named Al and Earl. His hobbies include sailing, skiing, and hiking.
