Surgical Services:

At NorthPaws Veterinary Center our doctors are fully trained in performing most any surgical procedure your pet should need, from routine spays and neuters to more complicated mass removals or orthopedic procedures. Our surgery suite is state-of-the art and enables us to perform surgeries to the highest standards of animal care. For those more complicated cases we also work closely with an in-house board certified specialist.

As an AAHA accredited hospital we also recognize the need for quality anesthetic care for your pets while they undergo surgical procedures. That is why when your pet is here for surgery, we have a surgical technician dedicated to monitoring him or her before, during and after their procedure. From pre-anesthetic monitoring bloodwork to look for any abnormal liver or kidney function to pre- and post-operative pain management, we make sure your pet is in the safest hands possible.  Our anesthetics are specialy tailored for your individual pet, which provides an extra margin of safety especially for our older or high-risk patients, and we have nothing less than the most modern monitoring equipment to assess our patient's vital signs throughout the entire procedure to assure the best of outcomes. Safety and patient comfort are our highest priorities.
